15 Rapidshare Alternatives
February 1st, 2007 by admin
If you like downloading files from free hosting (sharing) sites then you should know by now that Rapid Share is the king of them all. But when a site like this has too many users then the bandwidth use is skyrocketing. So the company has no choice but to resort to ads and paid subscriptions.
It doesn’t seem fair at first but the reality is all of these sites start with just a couple of annoying ads and get to the point where they have to limit the use/IP in some way or get a profit out of it. The only known method to pass Rapid Share limitations is to use a proxy to hide your IP. After you make a download then you have to change it again. You can see how this is becoming annoying in a short period of time.
So if you still want to share your files and you are looking for an alternative solution to your problems here is the list:
1.zupload.com
2.rapidupload.com
3.load.to
4.filecrunch.com
5.live-share.com
6.uploadpower.com
7.snapdrive.net
8.fileul.com
9.rogepost.com
10.sendspace.com
11.speedyshare.com - The one-hour limit
12.4shared.com
13.uploaded.to
14.files.to
15.yourfilelink.com
If you are interested in more details like : maximum file size or other limitations you can check out this table.

When I made that table it was more a quick throw together project. I’ve since made a separate site that has more up-to-date information and category sorting that’s actually correct (Hi 1MB sorting higher than 1.2GB). Everything’s also rated.
