There are a lot of sites that offer a quick and easy solution when it comes to find your favorite song. But there are some quick tricks you can use if you love Google so you can get access to great music in an instant.
- Quick way - Google Search Engine special query
“index of†+ “mp3″ + “Shakira†-html -htm –php
This kind of query is great if you like to search online directories. There are a lot of people that post music in private directories but if Google bots can find them thru a link then the game is on. You can have access to those file and you can download the mp3s you want. This query will find listings that contain the string “index of “ which is a sign of a directory listing and the “mp3†will assure you that there are some mp3 files in that directory ; the removal of html , htm and php files will make your search almost perfect. Be creative and try to search for you favorite artist or song.
- Using Google Co-OP
You can take advantage of the new feature that Google Co-OP offers. Basically you have the possibility to create your own search engine by specifying only the sites you are interested on. If you can find some good sites that have free mp3 to download .You can add them to your search engine and only the results found on these specific sites will be displayed. Another cool feature is the possibility to invite friends that can join and start adding their own links. In the end the result is a cool search engine where you can find your free mp3 that you can download pretty fast.
To see a working example you can take a look here. Make sure you have a Google account and if you think you can contribute to this project and know some good sites, leave a comment and I’ll get back to you.
