The Star Who Fell to Earth
High above the world, where the sky turns velvet purple and diamonds sparkle, there lived a little star named Spark. Every night, Spark and her star family would twinkle and shine, watching over the sleeping world below.
Twinkle, twinkle, little star, the children would sing, and Spark would glow extra bright.
But Spark had a secret wish. She wanted to see what Earth was like up close. She imagined green forests, blue oceans, and children playing.

Be careful what you wish for, warned North Star, the oldest and wisest star in the sky. The Earth is beautiful, but it's not our home.
One night, a sudden gust of cosmic wind swept through the sky. It was stronger than anyone expected! Stars scattered like fireflies, and Spark felt herself being pulledâpulledâPULLED!
Spark! cried her star family.
Don't worry! Spark called out as she tumbled through the atmosphere. I'll find my way back!
Whoosh! Spark fell through layers of clouds, past the moon, down, down, downâuntil... Thump!
She landed in something soft and cold. Spark opened her eyes and found herself in a field of white. Snow!

Oh my! Spark gasped. Everything was so different! The world was dark except for her own golden glow.
Spark tried to float up, but she couldn't. I need to get home, she whispered, feeling scared.
Psst! Hey, glowing thing!
Spark turned and saw a small white rabbit hopping toward her. You're bright! said the rabbit. I'm Snowdrop. Who are you?
I'm Spark. I'm a star, and I fell from the sky. I need to get back home, but I don't know how.
Snowdrop twitched her nose thoughtfully. A star, huh? I've never met a star before. But I know someone who might help. Come on!
Spark followed Snowdrop through the snowy forest. Spark's glow lit their way, making the snow sparkle like a thousand tiny stars.
You know, Snowdrop said, you're lighting up the whole forest. Usually it's so dark at night. The other animals will be happy to see you!
Here we are! Snowdrop announced. They had reached a tall hill that seemed to touch the sky. On top stood the oldest tree in the forestâGrandmother Oak.

Little star, Grandmother Oak said in a voice like rustling leaves, why have you come to Earth?
I didn't mean to, Spark explained. The wind pulled me down. But now I want to go home. I miss my family.
I understand, Grandmother Oak said kindly. But first, look around you. Do you see what you've done tonight?
Spark looked. The forest animals had gatheredâdeer, rabbits, foxes, owlsâall watching her with wonder.
You've brought light to the darkness, Grandmother Oak said. You've shown kindness to a lonely rabbit. This is what stars doâwhether in the sky or on Earth.
Close your eyes, Grandmother Oak said. Make a wish. Not for yourself, but for others. When a star truly shines for others, the universe listens.
Spark closed her eyes. She thought of Snowdrop, who had helped a stranger. She made a wishâthat every night, someone would bring light to those who felt lost.
As she wished, Spark felt herself growing lighter. She was rising!
Goodbye, Spark! Snowdrop called. Thank you for the light!
Up, up, up Spark flew, until she was back in the velvet sky.
Her star family surrounded her with joy. Spark! You're home!
I am, Spark said, glowing brighter than ever. And I learned something important. Whether I'm up here or down there, I can always shine for others.
And if you look at the night sky tonight, you might see Sparkâthe little star who fell to Earth and learned that home isn't just a place. It's wherever you shine your light.
